Positive Psychology therapists believe that emotional and mental factors lead to happiness, so they help clients identify happiness from moment to moment.

The therapist will ask the client to maintain a journal of positive experiences each day in detail. Keeping a gratitude journal helps rewire the brain, offsetting ruminations of negativity.
