Life coaching is different than mental health counseling in critical ways, but both types of specialists offer benefits. Life coaches typically can’t diagnose and provide treatment plans for mental health disorders. Counselors and therapists do. Life coaches help people establish goals, find motivation, and achieve those goals. Their focus isn’t on mental health. A life coach uses motivational techniques to help someone accomplish goals that are unique to them and their aspirations. A person would go to a life coach for guidance in establishing more meaning in their life.

If you or someone you care about is displaying presumptuous, reckless, self-willed behavior that is to...

"Give, Invest, Inspire, Redefine, and Love every where you go"- Me. This is a mantra I live by. Setting a goal is the first step in making the invisible visible. Reaching out for help can be uncomfortable. If you are struggling to take that step, you are not alone. If you need support in reaching a goal, are having difficulty understanding confusing or uncomfortable thoughts / feelings, want to...
Many people were taught early on that emotions and feelings should not be outwardly discussed or displayed; others become aware of the stigma surrounding mental health issues as they mature. Unhealthy thought patterns surrounding mental health have led to ongoing, systemic problems th...
