I am a strong believer in spending the time to connect with my clients to create a trusting relationship. I am truly grateful when a client allows me the opportunity to play a role in the journey of their lives. My experience is working with children, teens, adults, and families, and I employ a variety of approaches based on the individual needs of my clients. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), strength-based approaches, and play therapy in my sessions. I assist clients in how to learn and implement healthy and appropriate coping skills to better manage their symptoms and stressors. My areas of treatment focus include depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, behavioral disorders, school related difficulties, communication issues, gender identity, infertility issues, self-esteem, stress-management, and life-cycle transitions. I work collaboratively with my clients to facilitate change and support them as they strive toward achieving their desired goals. My approach is warm and supportive, while also direct and interactive. I believe that everyone has the power and capacity to elicit change, and arrive to a place where they feel empowered to successfully manage their lives.
