Therapist Overview
Are you struggling with an important relationship? Have you experienced a loss and in need of support on your grief journey? Are you feeling anxious and uncertain about the future? Or, are you just generally wishing for more meaning, purpose, and equanimity in your life? I enjoy helping adults of all ages navigate transitions across the life span, from identity concerns, family issues, relationships, to aging, end-of-life, and grief & loss. My experience has taught me that walking these challenging paths of life alongside a caring professional can bring personal clarity, healthier relationships, and greater life satisfaction. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience helping diverse clients, from young-adult professional students managing anxiety, to aging individuals and their caregivers. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I pay particular attention to clients’ social & cultural identities. Social justice is a core value of my clinical work. It is a privilege to do this work. I respect the intrinsic strengths, dignity, and worth of all people. I also believe relationships are the primary way people heal. From this stance, I bring authenticity to my interactions with clients, and carefully attend to the quality of the therapuetic relationship. I invite you to reach out to see if we are a fit.
