Therapist Overview
You don’t ever have to go at it alone. I thank you for having the courage to begin this journey. I often describe my work as a journey as much of my role in this work involves being a co-pilot or co-author of your story. I seek to help individuals become the best version of themselves as they work through unresolved issues, trauma, or maladaptive patterns that have led to stuckness or got in the way of their happiness. As your therapist, I will encourage you to integrate all parts of yourself by becoming aware of much of what has shaped who you are. I have worked with individuals struggling with stage of life problems, transitions, adjustment related issues, acculturative stressors, LGBTQ issues, depression, anxiety, bipolar related disorders, personality disorders, trauma related disorders, schizophrenia, and neurocognitive disorders. I draw heavily from existential and psychodynamic practices and draw from other approaches based on the needs of my client. I enjoy the nature of this work and use a collaborative approach with my clients. I encourage you to put an end to your suffering and to reach out. Remember, you don’t have to go at it alone.
