As a depth/soul oriented therapist, I see therapy as a way to understand ourselves and our lives more deeply. We get curious about what’s happening for you using intuition and creativity. Some of the modalities we might use include Mindfulness, breathwork, Somatic/body awareness, art therapy, and Gestalt therapy. Life is so full these days…whether it’s work, kids, school, rapid changes in technology, our political climate, or how we are living our daily lives during a global pandemic, it’s been hard to catch a breath, literally. You might notice yourself developing new feelings and behaviors, or notice that old ones are resurfacing. Therapy can help us understand ourselves and our symptoms more deeply. We bring in an awareness of both our inner and outer worlds. We listen to what our symptoms are telling us and learn to respond in the present moment, rather than reacting from past hurts.
