*I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME* The prospect of dealing with all the stuff that you’ve been sweeping under the rug for a while can be daunting, and most folks don’t know where or when to start. Maybe you need to shift your perspective, maybe you need to learn some coping skills, or maybe you need to make a lifestyle change. Therapy is a good place to figure out what needs to happen for you to start feeling better. I work with older adolescents and adults who struggle with problems related to anxiety, depression, suicidal thinking, substance use, trouble sleeping, addictive behaviors, trauma-related symptoms. **NOTE** Due to COVID-19, my physical office is closed, but I am still working full-time via Telehealth. I am still accepting new clients. I’m extensively trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I’m trained in a specialized treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), called Cognitive Restructuring. I like to joke that I specialize in folks who have hated therapy in the past, and the reality is that this has actually become a niche for me. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy, perhaps even more than the interventions and coping skills.
