Over the years I have worked with children, teens, and adults. While each person makes a decision to participate in counseling for a different reason he or she is looking to make a change. My efforts are then centered on helping make that change happen. Together we can create a path by learning strategies and techniques to help achieve immediate goals and that can then be applied through all phases and stages of life. Establishing a relationship based on mutual trust and respect is essential to the therapeutic process. I have worked extensively with people with challenges in expressive communication, many of whom were on the autism spectrum. I feel this has given me a unique ability to explore and develop alternative ways of processing information to achieve goals.
