Aloha! Welcome to my Psychology Today page. I specialize in helping adults who have experienced trauma, especially those whose repeated exposure to abuse and/or neglect in childhood has left them with the symptoms of PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Addictions, relationship issues, and other mental health issues. I approach the therapeutic relationship with truth, compassion, and kindness You are the expert in your own life. I see my role as that of a trained guide who will assist you on your path to recovery. I believe all people have the innate wisdom and ability to heal within themselves. I offer a safe space to get unstuck, and recover those parts of yourself, that due to the effects of past trauma have been difficult to develop. The connection you share with your therapist is the most important aspect of therapy regardless of the approach used. I offer a complimentary phone consultation to see if I am a good fit for you. I am available for video sessions on Zoom or Doxy.me (you don’t need an app. for Doxy which is HIPPA compliant)
