My focus is on you. More than treatment plans, insurance needs and diagnoses, the process is fairly simple: listen deeply and authentically to the many layers of you. The mental “illness” presented is only an expression of some imbalance or other, and commonly represents a “strategy” (usually constructed by the child psyche) that while saving your life all those years ago, has now become the central problem in your life. The first order of business is to shed light on this outdated strategy, understand it’s contours, and then replace it with new, more powerful and relevant ones. This process, by definition, brings joy. Everyone is welcome. there is a focus on couples and family systems; on men’s issues and spirituality. Anxiety and depression are always the focus, but are seen as natural symptoms of imbalance. I’ve studied with Terry Real; and led workshops at Spring Hill of Ashby, and Omega Institute.
