We are complex and nuanced beings, designed for wholeness, beauty and truth. Our approach to counseling seeks to care for the fullness of the individual to see health and growth in all areas. Suffering in the world is very real and each person has a story of his/her confrontation with it. We believe effective counseling is a significant part of moving from shame, pain and fear into thriving lives of hope, perseverance and strength. Theron is a member of the ACA. His preferred methods of counseling include narrative, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, psychodynamic, and motivational interviewing. He is also certified in Prepare/Enrich for couples. He intentionally has an eclectic approach to counseling so he can be effective in caring for the whole person. His training comes from a Christian influenced perspective, though individual clients get to choose how, and if, they want to integrate spirituality into their therapy.
