Therapist Overview

Does your child struggle in school due to dyslexia or reading and writing difficulties and avoid schoolwork due to lack of confidence and anxiety? Are you afraid your child will struggle forever and nothing can be done to help him or her? You feel frustrated and tired of the homework battles and afraid that the teacher or school does not understand what he/she needs. Your child’s diagnosis from the school or psychologist feels hopeless and you want to see him succeed, but don’t know where to begin. I can help! Your child can learn to read and write-and enjoy it! I offer a prescriptive, multi-sensory, & most importantly, fun approach for each of my clients. My experience at the Vanderbilt Reading Clinic and training in Orton-Gillingham and Reading Recovery provide multiple approaches to identify the nuances in every child to ensure success. As a teacher and reading specialist with over a decade of experience, I understand students’ struggles and the parent’s desire for change. If you want to help your child with dyslexia, dysgraphia, learning issues, or gain back confidence, I would love to speak with you! I look forward to supporting you as you take the next step in your child’s education!
