At Sanctuary Counseling Group, we believe in creating therapeutic relationships with our clients that promote the healing of heart, mind, and soul. In my office, you will find a confidential space in which to share your story and reflect on your experiences. We will address together your emotional and mental health with an emphasis on you as whole person. You may also choose to engage your spiritual concerns, an area in which I am specially trained with people of all faiths. I received my Master of Counseling degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I hold a Master of Divinity degree from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA, and completed my undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am also ordained in the United Methodist Church. I work with adult clients struggling with grief, depression, anxiety, marital issues, perinatal loss/miscarriage, life transitions, and finding meaning in life. I have experience in the areas of mood and adjustment disorders, caregiver support (elderly and special needs populations), premarital counseling, faith development, and self-esteem improvement.
