Therapist Overview
As a therapist, my focus is helping individuals create a safe and nonjudgmental space to identify how anxiety, depression and postpartum depression violates self, roles as parent, partner, and/or employee. Unidentified and untreated negative emotions, thoughts and behaviors can lead to an inability to show up on time to work, engage in day to day activities, fatigue, insomnia and social isolation. Motherhood is portrayed as a magical time, but transitioning from womanhood to motherhood can be challenging, scary and create shame. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) in the Metro Atlanta and Gwinnett areas. As a experienced therapist, who specialize and have taught on Trauma, Suicide and Co-Occurring Disorder with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). I have experience helping clients regain control of negative emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that is connected to anxiety, depression, and postpartum depression. Grace is a special gift that is offered daily to each of us, but it is our responsbility to accept it. I look forward to partnering with you and advocating for you as you learn forgiveness, self-love, self-worth, and acceptance for your authentic self. Choices are gifts, that open doors to the person in the mirror.
