Sarasota Addiction Specialists offers a group environment for clients to become informed about addiction. We provide proven, evidence-based instruction for relapse prevention and strategies for maintaining a drug-free lifestyle. Our program can be utilized as a first attempt at treatment, or as a step-down in care from inpatient treatment, allowing a safe, gradual reintegration into the community. An IOP is a treatment program designed to help individuals develop the coping skills necessary to recover from substance abuse, while still living at home. This allows clients the opportunity to attend treatment while maintaining their personal, professional, or scholastic responsibilities. At Sarasota Addiction Specialists, we employ a team of highly trained, certified and licensed professionals to create and implement a personalized treatment plan for our clients to achieve sustained recovery. Our program is set up to be customizable, with tracts ranging from six weeks to six months. Each week consists of a minimum of nine hours of group therapy, with the option of additional individual counseling. In addition to standard weekly urine testing for drug monitoring, Sarasota Addiction Specialists offers the Soberlink remote alcohol monitoring companion. Soberlink combines a professional grade Breathalyzer that is wirelessly connected to a cloud-based web portal. The technology uses facial recognition to confirm identity, tamper resistant sensors to ensure integrity of the tests, and automation to create a seamless monitoring solution. For clients needing a more personal component An IOP can be a first attempt at treatment, a step up in care from a less structured outpatient program, or a step down from inpatient or residential treatment. Clients will first meet with a certified counselor for an initial consultation where we will go over the client’s substance use history and background information, then design a personalized treatment plan. Occasionally, clients will first need to undergo detox or inpatient treatment. Our counselors have relationships with world-class facilities throughout the state and nationally, to whom we confidently refer out when necessary. Many of our clients have recently completed inpatient treatment and are looking for a structured support system to more safely reintegrate back into their daily lives. Alternatively, some clients have tried unsuccessfully to quit using substances on their own, finding their personal accountability insufficient. Whatever the case, Sarasota Addiction Specialists offers anyone suffering from chemical dependency an avenue toward recovery.
