I celebrate creativity, diversity, and artistic temperaments. I generously welcome folks to this process in whatever stage that they arrive at – we can work together to figure it all out. I really enjoy working with people in the midst of critical life transitions and on becoming their most authentic selves. And I am particularly focused on helping people heal from trauma, with an emphasis on the wounds of early childhood. Change is hard. I provide a healing and non-judgemental space that helps to facilitate new insight, learning, and growth. I am a post-master trained, licensed clinical social worker with fourteen years of clinical experience. I have worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, emergency rooms, and community mental health clinics. My work is strengths – based and attachment focussed. I am EMDR trained and use this primarily in my work with trauma and PTSD. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a vital component in facilitating growth and change.
