If you’re looking for a safe place to discuss life challenges and to explore ways to better your overall sense of well-being, then entering therapy may be the right choice for you! I offer counseling for adolescents and adults going through life transitions, grief-related issues, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ-related issues, addiction, as well as a range of other needs. I’m passionate about working with people who are hesitant to ask for help and feel that everyone, no matter who they are, really deserve someone to hear them. Entering therapy is a brave step. “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” – Frederick Douglass I went to graduate school at Boston College, in Boston, MA. I had the opportunity to intern at the VA Medical Center in Boston, where I worked with veterans with HIV/AIDS, as well as veterans with cancer. I also have experience working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, in several drug and alcohol settings, as well as in outpatient mental health clinics. I believe that anyone, regardless of how difficult their problems may seem, can benefit from having a therapeutic relationship. If you’re interested in learning more about how I may be able to help, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. People describe me as very approachable and down-to-earth. If this is your very first time in therapy, welcome!
