Ron is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer who now serves as a Resident in Counseling at New Vita Neurotherapy. His experience and passion has proven that he can work with many different people. He has worked with people ages 11 to 65, individuals & couples, focused on developing communications skills, career goals, grief and loss or improving overall quality of life. He served in many environments and understands many of the challenges facing those returning from deployments, and reuniting. He has extensive training to work with those affected by traumatic events. He earned a Certificate in Graduate Studies in the field of Trauma, skilled in Trauma Focused-CBT I offer Clinical Counseling, EMDR and Neurofeedback. He serves with the Tidewater EMS Council and Virginia Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). He believes that change come from within a person.
