I have been practicing addiction medicine and pain management for the past 17 years. I am certified in addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventative Medicine and the American Board of Pain Medicine. I have extensive experience in managing addiction and working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I specialize in helping patients with opioid addiction, alcohol addiction, chronic pain, and addiction with chronic pain. I offer outpatient detoxification from opioids and alcohol, medication assisted treatment (MAT), treatment of pain complicated by addiction. I use buprenorphine (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol, Revia) extensively. MAT treatment for opioids offers a significant reduction of death, infections, and increases social functioning.
