If only I could explain to others about my child’s difficulties. If only I had support. The if only can be overwhelming when dealing with a child that seems different from others of his or her age group. Each child is special and unique. Allow me to guide your child and your family to a better understanding of the unique strengths and qualities they are capable of. As a Clinical Social Worker, I have expertise in sensory processing disorder, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, addictions, relationship issues, communication problems, grief and loss. However, my passion and strengths are working with children, juveniles, and families. My primary focus is the employment of Cognitive Behavior Theory with a Narrative Therapy Model to guide youth and family to realize their strengths can be the difference between a family thriving or a family just surviving.
