I received my Psy.D. in 2012 after resetting refugees and practicing immigration law for more than 25 years and teaching and publishing in that field. I have worked in Chicago, where therapy was conducted in Spanish, and locally, treating individuals and couples of all ages. I am a generalist. My approach integrates theories and techniques from various traditions, including mindfulness and metacognitive-based interventions, that I modify to each client’s needs.
