So much of life is about relationships, beginning with the relationship with oneself. I believe this is the foundation upon which people thrive. The therapeutic relationship is at the crux of self-discovery and personal growth, and through this connection, individuals begin to develop a greater understanding of themselves, their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, motivations and desires. This translates into a more empowered sense of self, improved relations with others, and ultimately a better quality of life. We all experience pain and trauma that can make life or certain situations more challenging. It takes courage to seek help in navigating life’s obstacles, and doing so can lead to a rewarding experience and a more enriched, fulfilled life. I help individuals make meaning of their experience and integrate the parts of their identity so they can thrive.
