Therapist Overview

If you’re looking to navigate difficulties in your life, learn more about yourself, to become more mindful, to grow or feel more comfortable with who you are, I may be a good therapist fit. I work with adults, adolescents and couples. My specialty areas include: anxiety, depression, grief & loss, life transitions, self-worth, relationship issues, body image, self-compassion, LGBTQ, and more. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I am passionate about incorporating warmth and authenticity into clinical work. I believe that therapy should be a safe place where clients can feel heard and supported and I strive to provide that. I assess what best fits each client’s individual needs in a therapeutic context by integrating different therapy styles. Starting therapy can be an overwhelming process and part of that is finding a therapist who is right for you. I’m available for a consultation to talk about what you’re looking to gain from therapy and how I can help you. I believe therapist fit is incredibly important and having a consultation phone conversation can help start that discussion.
