Monica Giuffre

As an LPC-Intern, I hope to facilitate greater self-awareness and insight for my clients as they navigate through their life experiences with my assistance as a facilitator and collaborator. This newly acquired insight may lead to increased confidence, self-esteem, independence, the capacity to make healthy life changes, and the power to build and maintain healthy relationships. I am glad to guide my clients throughout every step of the process in a supportive, warm, and non-judgmental atmosphere. I believe that each client is different and that one therapeutic approach may not be the best fit for all clients, which is why my approach to therapy is eclectic. However, using an array of techniques, I will help you find the one that works best for you. When it comes to children, I will utilize play therapy if it will seem appropriate. I believe that a good working alliance with my clients is a necessary condition as well as the foundation of therapy. I strive to help my clients feel heard, understood, and feel less alone through my support and reassurance. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays.
