Anna Kareiva is taking new clients (online or via phone) throughout NC and enjoys working with teens, adults, and couples. Many experience barriers to wellness due to anxiety, depression, grief, conflict, or circumstances outside their control. No matter the presenting concern, resiliency is key. Cross-trained as a board certified music therapist and LCMHC I offer a holistic approach incorporating mindful counseling and music therapy. Resiliency can be experienced with a willingness to create effective changes despite the pain and difficulties we encounter. I offer consultation to discuss options for treatment with virtual and phone sessions. I hole-heartedly support the stance that clients hold intrinsic wisdom. When initiating therapy wisdom is often overwhelmed by unpleasant thoughts and emotions. Openness while disclosing uncomfortable feelings and struggles allow room for accepting feedback.
