Therapist Overview
Are events in your life leaving you feeling lost or on shaky ground? Do you feel stuck as a result of things happening outside of your control? So often this leads folks to feel overwhelmed and at a loss of hope. Sound familiar? You’re not alone. I strive to create a non-judgmental space where you can discuss experiences and process emotions with the central goal of reaching a new level of insight. With new insight comes new solutions. I respect the experience of my clients and understand the extent to which trauma can complicate how a person sees themselves and their place within the world. I am also trained in EMDR therapy. I work with adults who are experiencing grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and life transitions (involving the loss of a loved one, troubling medical news, or anything that requires finding a “new normal”). My passion is to support you with identifying healthy coping strategies, foster a more mindful way of living, and promote overall well-being. Diversity is something to be celebrated, and I value the opportunity to work alongside folks from various backgrounds. All are welcome at JFCS, and you do not need to be Jewish to receive services. It takes a large amount of courage to reach out for support, and I will work with you to schedule our first appointment within a week of your initial contact.
