Hi, and welcome! You might have a sense that there’s something wrong with you and that part(s) of yourself don’t really make sense or are “broken.” Though you’re able to function and/or to be competent in certain areas of your life, your internal experience tends to vacillate between chaos and numbness. You may also find yourself engaging in behavior(s) that another part of you doesn’t agree with. You’ve tried to make changes on your own, and it hasn’t worked! Inside you’re fragmented, and it keeps you from feeling connected to yourself and with others. You’re looking to find more ease in your relationship(s) and joy in your life. I provide trauma-focused somatic psychotherapy to adult individuals and couples (with diverse cultural, sexual and gender identities) who struggle with various trauma-related symptoms. My approach is collaborative and grounded in attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology. I use EMDR, parts-works and other interventions to foster growth and healing. With compassion, empathy and warmth I co-create with you a “safe enough” space in which over time you can develop the capacity to be in contact with your experience without feeling overwhelmed by it.
