Therapist Overview

Making a Difference Association (MaDA) was founded in 2006 to offer support and services to children, adults and families dealing with trauma. The services we offer include: Adult, Individual, Child, Premarital, Conjoint, Couples and Family Counseling. Additionally, we offer specialty services such as Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) and Eye Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing (EMDR). We also provide a variety of classes such as Parenting, Anger Management and Domestic Violence (victims and offenders). Moreover, we offer life and social skills development through our FSP case management program. Trauma-Focused Therapy is a specific approach to therapy that recognizes and emphasizes understanding how a traumatic experience impacts a person’s mental, behavioral, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. This type of therapy is rooted in understanding the connection between the trauma experience and the person’s emotional and behavioral responses. Please feel free to call our office to receive additional information regarding Counseling, specialty services such as EMDR or PCIT, Parenting/DV/Life Skills Classes and Life and social skills development (FSP program).
