Are you feeling overwhelmed? All of us experience seasons of unbalance, heartache, and emotional distress. My practice is centered on us co-authoring respectful and lasting solutions to the struggles you have experienced in the past or are presently experiencing. It is important to me for sessions to include: hopefulness, compassion, and a sense of humor. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State. I also have a Professional Counselor License for the State of Oregon (LPC). I have worked at CHARIS Counseling Associates for over a decade. Before my counseling career, I was a high school teacher with PPS. At CHARIS, my present focus is on healthy mental health for women ranging from 23 to the end of life. Topics might include, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, loneliness, career, divorce, grief and loss. Pre/post marital couples therapy is another speciality of mine. I am passionate about couples total wellness mentally, physically and spiritually. I am a Christian systemic therapist; utilizing a wide variety of engaging expressive therapy techniques.
