My ideal client is looking for a way to be more personally and interpersonally effective. This person is likely to be depressed, anxious and/or has suffered some brain-behavior problems such as neurodevelopmental disorder (particularly Autism), Traumatic Brain Injury or stroke and is looking to develop skills to be more personally and interpersonally effective utilizing techniques from Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ABA, IPT and Bowen Family Systems Theory. My ideal client is ready to change and is curious about his/her own functioning and willing to become more self-reflective and responsible for his/her own behaviors. I utilize applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavior therapy, Bowen Family Systems theory and a knowledge of brain-behavior issues, particularly relevant to executive dysfunction.
