I have been working as an addictions counselor for the past three years and really love my work! I want to continue working with individuals who have addiction as part of their story, but also others who are seeking to connect with and become the best version of themselves. I utilize a person-centered, strengths-based approach to assist clients in connecting to their strengths and build trust in themselves to optimize their inner and outer worlds. I am a Certified Complex Trauma Practitioner (CCTP). This certification has helped me develop the skills set to identify and treat issues as the result of psychological trauma(s). I help my clients gain perspective on what happened and help them form an empowered relationship with the parts of self that become stuck because of trauma.
