Therapist Overview
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, having earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015. I received my terminal Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from TCSPP in 2009. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in several different clinical settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, residential facilities and schools. My extensive experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with both externalizing and internalizing issues. In addition to private practice, I am the Associate Director of the Young Adult Program at Compass. I utilize an integrative approach to treat a diverse spectrum of anxiety and mood related symptoms, which incorporates approaches associated with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), within a Relational framework. I have experience with trauma-informed care as well. My approach is collaborative and strength-based. Therapeutically, I strive to empower my clients to make changes that will lead to a more fulfilling way of experiencing their world. I greatly value the client-therapist relationship and view this as an essential catalyst in aiding discovery, growth, and ultimately change. I am looking forward to joining you on a journey of transformation and healing.
