Therapist Overview
As a child psychologist, I am passionate about helping kids to learn, heal, and grow so that they can be noticed in positive ways. When struggles happen within or around children, their potential can go unreached. Despite this, all children possess unique and significant value, and I truly believe that investing in therapy will create a lasting, positive impact for them, and for you. Some things that might lead you to make the decision to begin therapy are: significant life changes; poor attention and concentration; traumatic events; defiant behavior; frequent worrying; depressed mood; or issues with peers or school. I have 9+ years of clinical experience working with parents and children. My priority is to use genuineness, warmth, and strong rapport to connect with you and your child. I’m also certified in a variety of practices, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for young children and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address anxiety and depression. While I treasure the importance of working with children, I also advocate for the benefits therapy can provide for adults. If you or your child are feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work it takes just to get through the day, I am so eager to meet you and to help you create a plan for moving forward with less stress and more moments of joy and success.
