Kristina R Armbruster

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation, have Certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy, and am a Registered Nurse. I received my Bachelor of Social Work with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Akron in 2001. I attained my Master of Social Work from the University of Akron in 2003. I completed my certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy from The Wellness Institute in 2014. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walsh University in 2014 as well. In 2017, I completed training in the Bryan Method of Hypnoanalysis at the Institute of Medical Hypnoanalysis. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, a Clinical Member of the Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy Association, a member of The National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists and a member of EMDRIA. I assist clients using a wholistic person centered approach from a person in environment perspective. I am also interested in determining the cause and getting at the root of the problem. I mainly use a blend of CBT, mindfulness, EMDR and hypnotherapy. However, I use other applicable therapies as well. I look forward to working with you!
