Therapist Overview
Hello! I’m a marriage and family therapist who specializes in working with relationship issues. I help children, adolescents, and couples who are navigating difficulties with life transitions, family conflict, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression and stress. I am trained in Integrative Systemic Therapy and look at each client’s specific needs based on their family system, support system, upbringing and current living environment. I think it is very important to not only give the client the tools they need to alleviate their symptoms, but also work within the context of the client’s system to set them up for success. I attended The Family Institute at Northwestern University where I obtained my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to my training at the Bette D. Harris Clinic at The Family Institute, I have outpatient therapy experience in an agency setting, private practice, and a foster home. I prioritize creating a unique plan for each client by acknowledging, understanding, and helping them mend their growing edges while capitalizing on their strengths so they can ultimately grow and become their best selves. I help clients make lasting changes by feeling understood and cared for throughout the entire therapeutic process.
