Julie Fickley

Julie’s passion has always been to help others. Her background includes seven years working for non-profit organizations in the US and France and ten years as an elementary and high school teacher. Julie enjoys working with adolescents and adults of all life stages. She has experience in both community health and private practice settings. Julie has experience providing individual counseling to clients with anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, bipolar disorders, and trauma. Julie is S.A.F.E. EMDR trained and approaches her work from an attachment-focused and trauma-sensitive perspective. She promotes self-compassion and acceptance in her work with her clients. Julie earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She also holds a B.S. in communications from Messiah College in Grantham, PA. Prior to counseling, Julie worked as a teacher for ten years.
