Joshua M. Berthiaume

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has experience working with youth and adults who are struggling with a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitions, among others. I believe that counseling should be client driven and strengths based by using an individual’s interests in order to engage them and help them reach their goals. I assist individuals with developing realistic solutions to everyday problems. I enjoy working with youth and families to help enhance parenting skills and promote effective communication within the family. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have experience with treating individuals with emotional, physical, and/or sexual abuse, as well as individuals who have been through other life changing events. Regardless of your reason for seeking services, I will strive to create a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere for you to express yourself. I understand that taking steps to start counseling can be intimidating, which is why I encourage interested individuals to reach out to me with any additional questions or concerns.
