Therapist Overview

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and founder of the Annapolis Child and Family Therapy Center. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with a wide range of mental health and family relationship concerns. Problems I treat include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, tics, Tourette’s, adjustment problems, noncompliance, anger/aggression, trauma, disruptive behavior, and family and couple relationship difficulties. My approach is collaborative and I view all of my clients as equal partners in the treatment process. I have expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Couple and Family Therapy approaches. I was previously Associate Director of a large Child Psychology clinic at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. I was also a faculty member at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I currently teach doctoral level classes. Finding a qualified therapist for yourself, child, partner, or family can be a challenging process. I believe it is important to ensure the therapist you choose is compassionate, nonjudgmental, easily accessible and provides clear recommendations. I strive to meet all of these standards and I invite you to reach out for a free phone or email consultation.
