Therapist Overview
My practice focuses on psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational diagnosis and assessment (not therapy). I see older children, adolescents, and adults. Many of my clients have learning difficulties due to specific learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia), ADHD, or interference from emotional issues. Others are working with a psychotherapist who seeks additional understanding of personality or cognitive problems that affect their treatment. My practice is limited to testing and assessment. The process begins with collecting information from you (or parents, for a child), schools, and therapists. The evaluation includes assessments of general intellectual ability, memory, speech and language, visual processing, executive functions (e.g., attention), school skills and personality functioning. Evaluation begins with a discussion of you or your child’s needs, either by phone or in person. The testing is tailored to meet your needs and concerns.
