Jennifer Haggerty

My goal as a therapist is to support my clients in identifying strengths and developing coping skills in order to move toward positive change. I have experience and specialties in helping children, adolescents, adults and families. I use creativity and warmth to help my clients manage their depression, anxiety, peer conflict and developmental challenges, especially Autism spectrum disorders. I works closely with parents and focus on positive parenting techniques. I use a variety of methods to help my clients improve their symptoms, relationships and lives. I enjoy working with children and their families and take time to build rapport in order to foster a safe, comfortable environment. I also love working with high school and college students, and young adults as they transition into adulthood. I am part of a group practice in the Elmwood section of West Hartford called Project Thrive CT. I offer daytime and evening availability and am currently accepting new clients.
