She also works in trauma as a certified EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)therapist. It’s an evidenced based therapy that allows the individual to let go of the anxiety/pain that stays in the body after a trauma. An option is providing spiritually based therapy. Jennie’s specialties include the following:Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified in EMDR, Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Certified Rational Living Therapist. Her training and background emphasize the years of experience in marriage/family work, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction and handling difficult people in our lives w/ boundaries. Jennie’s aim is to provide a warm, caring and non-judgmental approach to her clients and their concerns. She believes that it is possible to embrace ourselves as we are in the moment while accepting the need for change.
