Have you suffered loss: loved ones, broken relationships, job, possessions? We all have suffered loss. We all have struggles. We all need someone to talk to in order to share our hurts and our struggles. We each need someone who is willing to walk through the difficult valleys of life with us to know that we are not alone in our journey. I would love to be a part of your journey to healing and restoration; to find purpose, meaning and hope in the struggles of this life. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13 My goal in counseling is to create a safe and calming environment where individuals can process their hurts, losses, and struggles. I specialize in working with adults, adolescents, elementary age children, teens and clergy or religious professionals. About myself: though I grew up in Southern Illinois, my family & I lived in New Orleans 10 years before, during, & after Hurricane Katrina suffering great loss. I worked in disaster relief helping the people of New Orleans recover. I enjoy movies, art, music, exploring new restaurants, serving at my church, teaching scripture, & spending time with family.
