Therapist Overview
I deliver ILF Neurofeedback brain training sessions on site to senior citizens in residential care centers, and senior citizens living in their own home or with other family members. I specialize in services for these clients. I am a Co-Founder of the Neurofeedback Advocacy Project ( www.neurofeedbackadvocacyproject.com ), or “NAP”. Until such time as the NAP makes further process in Medicare and health plan approvals for Neurofeedback services under the existing codes, my practice is necessarily out-of-pocket private pay, by check or credit card, $150 / session. I do not charge for the assessment session. Neurofeedback can help adults feel, think, and live like their younger self. Life stress can lead to brain “dysregulation” impacts your health. Neurofeedback activates your brain’s natural capacity to re-regulate how it functions. The result: better sleep, reduced migraines depression and anxiety; in short, a better quality of mental life. The therapy is enjoyable, relaxing, painless and non-invasive, works relatively quickly and the results are sustainable. Including clients with concerns for cognitive impairment. Neurofeedback can help mature adults in ways that “talk therapy” and medication do less well, without having to ask embarrassing questions and engage in painful discussions.
