Therapist Overview
I am a humanistic/relational psychologist with over 20yrs experience in mental health. I believe every person has what they need to heal already within them and that I am just a guide for you to uncover your true potential so that you can live an authentic life. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work to better understand and resolve challenges in our current life. Life transitions can be challenging to get through, and they can also be a spring board into tremendous self growth. I listen intently and care deeply about my clients and most of all I want them to feel heard, understood and supported. I work from a humanistic, relational, non-judgmental perspective influenced by systemic and feminist theories. We all need a place in our lives to reveal all aspects of ourselves and I strive to provide one of those places for my clients. Personal growth and change can sometimes be difficult to get through and having support can often soften that process. I believe having a sense of peace & purpose, being kind & loving to oneself & others, and being concerned with the human spirit and achieving personal growth can be an asset to bringing deep personal change to one’s life.
