Therapist Overview
These days, there is pervasive anxiety about many things. Certainly, at present, the pandemic leaves us uncertain, depressed, confused and fearful. When the pandemic passes, which it inevitably will, what will your “return to normal” actually mean in terms of moving forward? We can help you formulate a plan for a grounded, fulfilling, positive life, step-by-step. Our goal-based structured therapy will help you develop psychological tools for success. With a trauma-informed perspective, we specialize in using Narrative Therapy, which helps us help you look at your life in increments so that you can formulate attainable goals. Educational Background: Masters in Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s University, and a Masters in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. Work Experience: I have been working for more than 13 years in social services. This includes crisis management and counseling for a variety of populations including mental health, developmental disabilities and drug and alcohol. I have worked as an investigator for special populations as well.
