My work with preschoolers, children, adolescents and adults began 27 years ago. I have been in private practice in Tulsa since 2000 and starting in 2005 I have developed a special interest in Autism including becoming one of ten DIR/Floortime Practitioners in Tulsa. I completed 4 years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy as a part of my training believing that all of us have struggles and those who have worked through their troubles are the most qualified to help those who are troubled. My work with children has changed significantly in the last 11 years in that I now believe that parents are the primary therapeutic influences in the lives of their children. Consequently, we work as a team to help their son or daughter to overcome their challenges. I am inspired by my adult patients and by the parents of the children I serve.
