Therapist Overview
Now accepting Health Choice! Life brings us all pain, but that does not mean we have to suffer. Did you know that pain is an emotional experience, as well as a physical one? Perhaps you’ve suffered a life-changing injury, or you struggle daily with chronic pain. You may feel misunderstood by friends and family who tell you, “It’s all in your head,” or you may feel dismissed by medical professionals who are supposed to help you. You may also be battling intense sadness, loneliness, grief, fear, hopelessness, or relationship problems. I want you to know that there is hope, and together we can help you get your life back. My goal is to help you “turn down the volume” on your pain so that you can respond to it differently. My approach to chronic pain therapy begins with learning about your pain story and the current challenges you are facing. I follow the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP) treatment approach, which typically involves 8-10 sessions. In addition to chronic pain, I also have experience helping people with depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting issues, relationship problems, addiction, divorce, and eating disorders. I’ve worked with incarcerated juveniles and conducted psychological evaluations for the State of Oklahoma. You don’t have to suffer. Call me to begin your healing journey.
