I have been a Licensed Psychologist in Florida for 35 years. I spent 20 of those years as The Director of Psychological and Educational Services at The Children’s Home, Inc. in Tampa. I have been interested in understanding development over the life cycle and have devoted much of my professional life to helping people overcome the traumatic events in their own lives and in their families. I do individual psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages and I work with couples and families as well. Most people that I see present with depression and/or anxiety, and school, work and relationship problems. While my goal is to help people change behaviors that are troubling them and come to terms with behaviors they can’t change, my approach to treatment involves first understanding the history and context of those behaviors.
