I know it may seem hopeless, overwhelming or dark now, but trust me when I tell you that things are never as hopeless or overwhelming as they seem and there is always light in the darkest of circumstances. Sometimes, it just takes some guidance to find it. You are the driver, but I ask that you allow me to meet you where you are and guide you to the place you want to be. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, are in a dysfunctional relationship(s), have been a victim of trauma, are seeking support with stress management, or simply, personal development, I am here for you! As a clinical social worker, I have worked in a variety of jobs and have a wealth of resources to assist with more than just the topic(s) discussed in session. I utilize a holistic approach that is strengths-based and client-centered. I will ensure that all aspects of your “self” are being considered when collaborating to develop a course of treatment. I have been on the other side of the desk; I know how intimidating seeking therapy can be. Therapy should be just as accepted and non-threatening as going to your family doctor for a physical and I strive to normalize the process and make it as comfortable as possible. You are not someone with a mental illness; you are an individual seeking mental wellness.
