Dr. Luke Hadge

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and trained psychoanalyst with over twenty-five years of work experience. I am Associate Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Hawaii Medical School. I am licensed in Hawaii and New York and am located in downtown Honolulu. I am the only trained and practicing psychoanalyst in Hawaii from an institute approved by the American Psychoanalytic Association. I specialize in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy. I also conduct psychological evaluations, provide consultations and clinical supervision. I completed my psychoanalytic training at Columbia University, my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Boston University, and my internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School. I worked in Boston and New York City for over twenty-five years before moving to Hawaii. I am the founder and president of the Hawaii Psychoanalytic Society, an Affiliated Study Group of the American Psychoanalytic Association, the only one in the state, and which is dedicated to sharing psychoanalytic knowledge and helping patients.
